Hello C3 familes!  It was great to see Josh up and about and to have him join us for 1/2 the day yesterday.  Were so proud of your progress Josh, good job! 

I look forward to this Fridays field trip. It should be interesting and fun especially for the students.

Here is this weeks homework:

High School:
Spanish - finish reading comprehension pg. 79 and complete questions on page 81.  Also, read chapter 7 and complete 7.1.

W. History- Please read lessons 81, 82 and 84.  Concentrate on Lesson 81,  Martin Luther and be prepared for a short quiz on Tues on Martin Luther.  

W. Literature- Begin reading the biography of your parents choice, either "Here I Stand" or "Luther: Biography of a reformer".  Please read 1/2 of the book by this Tuesday.  

Biology-
  Module 8  p. 227- 251 and complete 1/2 of the study guide.  Also put together and complete your family "pedigree/chart" showing your family traits for: attached or unattached ears, eye color, or hair color and come prepared to discuss, in class, genotypes.

We will be dissecting a sheep's brain so it's important that you study and know the answers in order to have a successful dissection.

Economics-  Please read Ch 4. Those w/o the guide will be emailed the questions.
Please be reviewing the "City" list to eliminate what is unnecessary.
Please communicate with one another about the building tools (Legos, boxes, styrofoam?)
Check out maps of other small cities to see what kind of ideas you may get.
Have fun with it.  Where would you place the "Batman" cave?
Are we going to have a City of Refuge where "Batman" or God is the protector?

Middle School 

Latin: Study vocabulary and 2nd declension neuter for test on chapter 12.  

Science: Read module 3.  Add vocabulary words that will be emailed to you.  Read through the experiments in preparation for class on Tuesday.  

IEW: Complete creative writing assignment.  

American History: Complete "The Rush to California" and "The Underground Railroad".  Look for further instructions regarding vocabulary or chapter questions to be emailed to you.

American Literature: Please read  2nd 1/2 of "By the Great Horn Spoon"and complete the book by Tuesday.  Add these words to your vocabulary notebooks.
