Good morning everyone,
Praise God we pressed through, beautifully I might add, another co-op day. Shirley was surely missed and please continue to lift her family in prayer during this time, but we look forward to her return. Thank you to everyone who remembered to pay their co-op dues for the month of October to Debbie. If you did not remember or did not have it, please bring your dues to co-op next Tuesday. Parents please encourage your students to gather up all paperwork, books, water bottles and backpacks that belong to them after each class. Every week we seem to have one or more of those things left after each class and at the end of the day. Also please remember to have your students bring notebooks and binders to class for taking notes and to collect worksheets to take home with them when handed out. Parents of high school students, next week I will be calling on a student to lead/teach the class both for world lit and world history. Please be sure that they get the document with instructions that I will be emailing to you. I will come up with some questions and they will have to come up with at least 8 questions of their own from both the history reading and the literature reading/listening. They still will need to do the vocabulary sent. Remember that this week is IEW on Thursday at Shawns house. As stated by Shawn, they can and should bring laptops if they are available to them. Of course they need to bring any outlines, etc that was started at the last class. Maybe this week all of us moms can go hang out at the nearby Starbucks while our students are in class.
