Spanish - finish exercise 9.9, 9.11 & 9.12; study vocabulary
W. History - Read chapters 136, 138, and 140
W. Literature- We will be beginning the book "Animal Farm" this week. You should read Chapters 1-3 this week. In addition, please check the television news, advertisements or internet news for examples of propaganda techniques we discussed in class and be prepared to share them in class. The terms were euphemism, oversimplification, bandwagon, internal contradiction, faulty cause and effect reasoning, and begging the question. Also look up the vocabulary words given in class and I will send chapter questions via email.
Biology- For biology next week, we will be in Module 13 again and the guys need to study up on the frog anatomy because they will be dissecting the frog next week ! Let me know what to bring for lunch next week too.

What does our gov't practice - Natural or Civil or a combination? Who is the highest power in each system?
Interview a family friend or anyone who owns or operates a business.
ASK:
What was the reason they started a business?
If it is a 'Sole Proprietorship'; a 'Partnership' or 'Corporation'-(private or public or non-profit).
Would they chose to do it that way again?
Ask them to name 1 government regulation that they have to follow?
Did they have a plan?
How did they obtain financing for their business?
What is a person called who starts a small business?
Middle School
Latin: Review vocabulary for chapters 15-20. Also, review lesson IV on pages 54-55; Be ready for the test covering chapters 15-20.
Science: Study and be able to explain the four criteria for life in Module 9. Read Experiments 9.4 and 9.5. Joshua will lead these experiments in class.
IEW: complete 5-paragraph, keyword outline on life of Booker T. Washington. Write the first draft and bring outline and draft next week.
American History: complete worksheet that will be emailed.
American Literature: Read, Up From Slavery, Chapters 1-9. Be prepared to share your thoughts on events in Washington's life that impress you.
